Abandoned Warehouse District, Friday Morning

After getting out of Jono's class early, Korra was standing on the roof of a warehouse, looking dubiously at the gap between buildings. She looked at the figure standing beside her.

"Are you sure about this?" she asked. "I mean I could probably just jump it. No bending required."

"I'm sure you could," Aang replied, clapping her on the shoulder. "But this way is more fun. Besides you said you had to do this for a class."

"Yeah, but I have a whole week for that," Korra said, looking at the gap again. "Plus my airbending is still kinda not great when I'm not all...you know? Which I probably shouldn't do since you might disappear on me."

"I doubt that's going to happen," Aang said. "I feel much more alive than the last time we met, so it shouldn't effect me."

"You felt pretty alive on my end," Korra pointed out. "It wasn't until I got talking with Tenzin and Lin after that they pointed out you weren't there outside my head. What if I've just gone a bit crazy and you're not really here?"

Aang shrugged. "You'll just have to take my word as the Avatar that you're not crazy," he said, then added with a grin. "Though if I was Toph you'd have been flung over to the other building by now as proof."

"I can believe that." Lin had to have got it from somewhere, after all. "It's just, this is pretty advanced airbending."

"And you've had a pretty good airbending teacher. Plus, I did invent the technique." When he was twelve. So he was completely justified in sounding proud of himself.

Korra was so telling Tenzin Aang said that, it'd make his year. "Right, let's do this."

Because that was a phrase that never foreshadowed airbending mishaps. Ever.
